Harbour West Consulting partnered with Ion Brand Design to develop a logo and brand identity to celebrate 15 years in business. HWC wanted to further differentiate themselves from local competition in the Human Resources sector, and to better display their skills in executive search, career placement, and HR Consulting. Following a collaborative branding process, we were asked to incorporate colours and imagery from Vancouver’s North Shore where Harbour West is located. Our colour palette is inspired by nature, the trees, hills, mountains, and ocean. Our custom wordmark incorporates both a ‘plus’ symbol and a subtle western-pointing compass motif into the ‘H’ character. This is mark symbolizes how Harbour West is a valuable addition to any team. The most important set of deliverables were a large suite of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint templates, branded with the new HWC identity and used as part of their strategy development for clients. These templates were designed by Ion and produced by HJL Solutions to ensure accessibility standards and ease-of-use were top of mind.
