Cinematicalism is a brand focused on sharing the appreciation and enthusiasm for high quality cinema. This identity was inspired by mid century modern colours, typography, and layout and the writing tone is intended to feel more gritty and salt-of-the-earth as if it were the thoughts of those working in film today. Together we developed a social media template for a fast-paced roll out of content via Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook. Promotional merchandise was also created as part of this social media campaign to help build a following. Lastly, during the film production strike of 2023, this team wrote and produced a short film to be entered in the 2024 film award circuit all over the world. My role with Insert Short Film Title was to design props for background set dressing, a fake soda brand hero prop, a few stills meant to represt storyboard artwork, and lastly the poster artwork shown below. This was an exciting project that really brought me out of my comfort zone and introduced me some very friendly people in the film industry at the same time.
